Job Description
The Bankers Institute of Rural Development (BIRD), under NABARD, invites applications for 5 Cooperative Development Officer (CDO) posts. These positions are on a contractual basis at the Centre for Professional Excellence in Cooperatives (C-PEC), Lucknow. There are 3 posts under Level 1 and 2 posts under Level 2 with monthly remuneration of ₹65,000–₹85,000. Candidates must apply via email in the prescribed format by 12 July 2025. Selection will be based on a written test, presentation, and personal interview.
NABARD C-PEC BIRD Recruitment 2025 – Apply for 5 Cooperative Development Officer Posts Details:
- Positions: 05 CDOs – Level 1 (3 posts) & Level 2 (2 posts)
- Location: C-PEC, BIRD, Sector‑H LDA Colony, Kanpur Road, Lucknow‑226012 (UP)
- Contract Duration: Initial 2 years (extendable by 1+1 year based on performance)
- Age Limit (as on 01 Jan 2025): Level 1 – max 50 years; Level 2 – max 62 years
- Education & Experience:
- Level 1: Graduate in Economics, Commerce, Agri, IT, etc.; ≥2 years coop/ICT experience
- Level 2: Postgraduate (preference M.Phil/Ph.D) in relevant subjects; ≥4 years in coop training/research/finance
- Key Responsibilities: Accreditation, certification & standardization of training; cooperative database & IEC material development; research, stakeholder engagement; seminars, workshops, field visits; digital platform work
- Remuneration: Level 1 – ₹65,000/month; Level 2 – ₹85,000/month (performance/qualifications may increase)
- Selection Process: Written ability test, PowerPoint presentation & personal interview; preference to experience/certifications
