Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) invites online applications from eligible Indian nationals for 1 Medical Officer (E-II) post at its Pune Unit, with the portal open from 14 May 2025 . Candidates must hold an MBBS degree, have a minimum of 2 years’ relevant post-qualification experience, and be aged ≤ 30 years as of 01 May 2025 . This fixed-term appointment is for 5 years (extendable up to 7 years), offering a pay scale of ₹ 40,000–1,40,000 and CTC of approx. ₹ 12.46 lakhs per annum. - Educational Qualification:
- MBBS from NMC/MCI-recognized University (Pass Class)
- Valid NMC/State Medical Council registration
- AFIH qualification preferred (to be acquired within 1 year if not already held)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant post-qualification experience (excluding academic/teaching)
- Age Limit (as on 01.05.2025):
- Maximum 30 years
- +10 years for PwBD (≥40% disability)
- Ex-servicemen as per Govt. norms
- Pay & CTC:
- ₹40,000–3%–1,40,000 (Basic Pay)
- CTC: Approx. ₹12.46 Lakhs per annum
- Allowances: DA, HRA, 35% Perquisites, PRP, Group Insurance, Medical, PF
- Key Responsibilities:
- Consultation and treatment services (OPD/IPD)
- Medical bill scrutiny and SAP processing
- Administration of CMA & BERECHS schemes
- Coordination of annual/preventive health check-ups
- Liaison with hospitals, pharmacies, factory authorities
- Health awareness sessions and record maintenance
- Any other duties as assigned
- Selection Process:
- Written Test (85 marks; 35% qualifying for UR, 30% for PwBD)
- Interview (15% weightage) for top 1:7 ratio candidates
- Final merit: 85% written + 15% interview
- Travel reimbursement for interview only (AC Chair Car/III AC)
