Job Description
Indian Air Force (IAF) is conducting a Recruitment Rally for the post of Agniveervayu (Musician) for unmarried male and female candidates in 2025. The rally will be held from 10th to 18th June 2025 at Delhi and Bengaluru. Interested candidates must register online between 21st April and 11th May 2025 to participate.

- Rally Venues: 2 ASC, Race Course Camp, Air Force Station New Delhi (New Delhi) and 7 ASC, No. 1 Cubbon Road, Bengaluru (Karnataka)
- Online Registration: Starts from 21 April 2025 (11:00 AM) to 11 May 2025 (11:00 PM)

- Date of Birth Eligibility: Candidates born between 01 January 2005 and 01 July 2008 (both dates inclusive)
- Age Limit: Maximum age as on date of enrolment should be 21 years
- Marital Status: Only unmarried candidates eligible; female candidates must remain non-pregnant during 4-year tenure
- Educational Qualification: Passed 10th / Matriculation from any recognized board with minimum pass marks
- Musical Proficiency: Candidates must have accuracy in tempo, pitch, sing one complete song, play one preparatory tune and any notation (Staff, Tablature, Tonic Solfa, Hindustani, Carnatic). Must tune and match notes.
- Instruments (Must know at least one):
List A – Concert Flute, Piccolo, Oboe, Clarinet, Saxophone, French Horn, Trumpet, Trombone, Baritone, Euphonium, Tuba
List B – Keyboard, Piano, Guitar, Violin, Drums, All Indian Classical Instruments - Desirable: Proficiency in two instruments (one each from List A & B)
- Musical Experience Certificates (any one): Grade 5 or above from TCL, RSM, Berklee, GMI etc., or Diploma in Hindustani/Carnatic music, or awards/performance certificates with staff notation proficiency
- Medical Standards:
Height: Male – 162 cm; Female – 152 cm (147 cm for NE/Uttarakhand, 150 cm for Lakshadweep)
Chest: Male – Min. 77 cm with 5 cm expansion; Female – 5 cm expansion
Weight: Proportionate to height and age
Vision: Must have valid prescription; LASIK/PRK not allowed
Hearing: Able to hear forced whisper at 6m
Dental: Healthy gums, minimum 14 dental points
General: Physically and mentally fit; free from diseases
Female: No pregnancy; Gynaecological exam mandatory; Gender reassignment not permitted - Selection Process: Online Registration → Provisional Admit Card → Recruitment Rally (as per schedule) → Musical Performance Test → Medical Exam
- Important Notes: Candidate must report on the exact date and time in the Admit Card. No change in venue/date allowed. Carry own travel contingency plan.
