The Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) has announced the important dates for the Junior Engineer Grade-II recruitment.

Candidates must possess a 3-year full-time Diploma in the relevant engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, C&I, Civil, or Communication) with at least 65% marks (60% for SC/ST/PwBD) from a recognized University/Institute. For the Mine Surveyor post, candidates must have Matriculation with 65% (60% for SC/ST/PwBD) and a Surveyor's certificate of competency issued by DGMS, or a Diploma in Mining/Surveying with the same percentage criteria along with the Surveyor's certificate.

The salary for the Junior Engineer Grade-II positions in the Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) ranges from ₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400. This salary is based on the Pay Matrix Level 6, which corresponds to the B4 level in the DVC. The salary range includes a basic pay of ₹35,400 and a maximum pay of ₹1,12,400, with increments based on the Pay Matrix Level 6. This salary structure provides a competitive compensation package for the selected candidates.

The Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) has announced the application fee for the Junior Engineer Grade-II recruitment. Candidates belonging to the General, OBC (NCL), and EWS categories are required to pay an application fee of ₹300. However, the SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen and DVC Departmental candidates are exempted from paying the application fee. The Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) Junior Engineer Grade-II recruitment 2024 syllabus covers a wide range of topics, including Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language, and General Awareness. The Reasoning Ability section includes analogies, classification, coding-decoding, and other logical reasoning questions. The Quantitative Aptitude section tests candidates' problem-solving skills in areas such as numbers, ratio and proportion, and algebra. The English Language section assesses vocabulary, grammar, and comprehension skills. The General Awareness section covers various topics like history, economics, and current events.

The final selection will be based on the marks obtained in the written test and the successful completion of document verification and medical examination.
