Bank of India Board Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria:

Criteria Description
Nationality / Citizenship A candidate must be: - Citizen of India, or - Subject of Nepal, or - Subject of Bhutan, or - Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before January 1, 1962, or - Person of Indian origin who migrated from specified countries with the intention of permanently settling in India
Age / Educational Qualifications / Experience Detailed eligibility criteria provided in Annexure I. Candidates should meet specified age, educational qualifications, and experience criteria as of February 1, 2024. Refer to Annexure I for detailed information.
Additional Notes - Reserved category candidates applying for reserved vacancies entitled to a 5% relaxation in marks if minimum 60% marks stipulated in educational qualifications. - Candidates must indicate percentage obtained in Graduation accurately.

  3. Candidates seeking age relaxation must provide original and submit copies of necessary certificates during the interview and subsequent stages of the recruitment process.
  4. Ex-Servicemen's eligibility for reservation ceases once they join a civil employment, except if they have applied for various vacancies before joining civil employment and meet specific conditions outlined in the notice.
  5. There is no reservation for Ex-Servicemen in the Officers' Cadre.

Bank of India Board Recruitment 2024: Process:

  1. Interview Process:
    • Merit list based on online exam scores in descending order for each category.
    • Candidates meeting minimum marks and ranking high will be called for the interview.
    • Passing the online test doesn't guarantee an interview.
    • If candidates have equal marks, seniority based on date of birth determines merit.
  2. Selection Criteria:
    • Selection may include online test and/or interview, depending on applicants.
    • If both conducted, weightage is 80:20 for online exam and interview.
    • Final selection based on combined scores of online exam and interview.
    • Merit list prepared based on marks in online exam and interview.
  3. Examination Centers:
    • Online exam conducted in various cities across India.
    • No change of exam center allowed.
    • Bank may cancel or add exam centers as needed.
    • Bank reserves the right to assign candidates to any center.

Notes:

  • The English Language test is of qualifying nature and marks obtained in it will not be added to the merit list.
  • All tests except the English Language test will be available in both English and Hindi.
  • Qualifying marks for General/EWS Category candidates. SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates have a 5% relaxation.
  • Penalty for wrong answers: One fourth of the marks assigned to the question will be deducted as a penalty for each wrong answer.
