NLC Announces 239 Industrial Trainee Vacancies: Application Details Inside

NLC India Limited (NLCIL) has released a notification for the recruitment of 239 Industrial Trainee posts under Project Affected Persons (PAPs) of NLCIL, Neyveli Units. The vacancy distribution includes 100 positions for Industrial Trainee/SME & Technical (O&M) and 139 positions for Industrial Trainee (Mines & Mines Support Services). The training duration is 3 years.

• Industrial Trainee/SME & Technical (O&M): Candidates need to have a 3-year Diploma in Engineering.
• Industrial Trainee (Mines & Mines Support Services): Applicants should have completed Class 10th from a recognized board and obtained an ITI in any engineering subject.

• Industrial Trainee/SME & Technical (O&M)
  • 1st year: ₹18,000 per month
  • 2nd year: ₹20,000 per month
  • 3rd year: ₹22,000 per month
• Industrial Trainee (Mines & Mines Support Services)
  • 1st year: ₹14,000 per month
  • 2nd year: ₹16,000 per month
  • 3rd year: ₹18,000 per month

• Age relaxation for OBC (Non-Creamy layer), SC, ST, and Ex-Servicemen candidates will be as per Government of India guidelines.
• The relaxation in the upper age limit for SC/ST/OBC (NCL) candidates is not applicable for consideration against unreserved posts.
• Relaxation for Ex-Servicemen (ESM) category candidates is as per extant Government of India guidelines.

• The selection process for NLCIL's Industrial Trainee recruitment consists of the following stages:
  • Written Test
  • Applicants will be selected based on their performance in the written test.
  • A merit list will be prepared after the written test based on the reservations for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS categories
• Document Verification
  • Selected candidates will be required to present their original documents at the center mentioned in the notification sent by email.
• Medical Examination
  • Provisionally selected trainees will undergo a medical fitness examination as per NLCIL's medical standards.
