BSI invites applications for JRF, JPF, FA & OA-DEO under NMHS project. Apply by 30th April 2025; interview to be held offline at Pune.
- Project Name: Conservation of Pteridophytes, Distribution and Diversity Patterns in Eastern Himalaya
- Recruiting Organization: Botanical Survey of India (BSI), Western Regional Centre, Pune
- Positions:
- 3 Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – ₹37,000 + HRA
- 2 Junior Project Fellow (JPF) – ₹24,000 + HRA
- 1 Field Assistant (FA) – ₹20,000
- 3 Office Assistant cum Data Entry Operator (OA-DEO) – ₹20,000
- Eligibility:
- JRF/JPF: 1st Class M.Sc. in Botany/Life Sciences/Ecology/Plant Sciences + 1 year research experience
- FA/OA-DEO: Bachelor’s Degree + relevant skills/experience
- Maximum Age: 28 years (all posts)
- Work Location: Western Regional Centre, Pune & field visits to Eastern Himalaya (Sikkim, North Bengal, Arunachal Pradesh)
