Job Description
Online applications are invited from eligible candidates for engagement as Act Apprentices for training under the Apprentices Act-1961 and RBE No. 120/2015 dated 06.10.2015 in the designated trades at Integral Coach Factory, with preference given to candidates from Tamil Nadu. Applications must be completed in all respects and submitted online by visiting the ICF web portal at https://pb.icf.gov.in until 21/06/2024.

Age Limit Integral Coach Factory 1010 Apprentice Posts:
Candidates must meet age requirements as of June 21, 2024, for ITI and Non-ITI categories, with a minimum age of 15 years. For ITI candidates, the maximum age limit is 24 years, while for Non-ITI candidates, it is 22 years. SC/ST applicants can avail up to 5 years relaxation, while OBC candidates can avail up to 3 years relaxation. Persons with Disabilities (PWD) are eligible for a relaxation of up to 10 years. To benefit from reservation, SC/ST candidates must provide a caste certificate, and OBC candidates must provide a non-creamy layer certificate during document verification. Age relaxation is subtracted from the normal maximum age limit to determine the upper age limit for candidates availing relaxation.
Education Qualification Integral Coach Factory 1010 Apprentice Posts:
Ex-ITI Candidates:
- Fitter, Electrician & Machinist: Should have passed Class 10th with a minimum of 50% marks with Science & Maths under the 10+2 system or its equivalent. Additionally, candidates should possess a National Trade Certificate in the respective trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training or State Council for Vocational Training of one year and above.
- Carpenter, Painter & Welder: Candidates should have passed Class 10th with a minimum of 50% marks under the 10+2 system or its equivalent. They should also possess a National Trade Certificate in the respective trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training or State Council for Vocational Training of one year and above.
- Programming and System Admin. Asst.: Candidates should have passed Class 10th with a minimum of 50% marks and possess a National Trade Certificate in the trade of Computer Operator and Programming Assistant issued by the National Council for Vocational Training or State Council for Vocational Training of one year and above.
Freshers:
- Fitter, Electrician & Machinist: Candidates should have passed Class 10th with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks with Science & Math under the 10+2 system or its equivalent.
- Carpenter & Painter: Candidates should have passed Class 10th with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks under the 10+2 system or its equivalent.
- Welder: Candidates should have passed Std X with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks under the 10+2 system or its equivalent.
- MLT (Radiology & Pathology): Candidates should have passed Std 10th examination under the 10 + 2 system with Physics, Chemistry & Biology.
