1. Minimum Education: You need at least a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in India or an equivalent qualification. If you're waiting for results or plan to take exams in 2024, you can still apply provisionally but need to show proof of passing by the application deadline.
2. Exceptions: In special cases, if you don't have the usual qualifications, you might still be considered if you've passed an exam that the commission thinks is good enough. Also, if you have professional or technical qualifications recognized by the government, you can apply.
3. Re-appearance Restriction: If you've already been chosen in a previous exam for Assistant Commandants, you can't apply again.
4. Physical Standards: You must meet the physical and medical standards listed in the notice.
5. NCC Certificates: Having NCC ‘B’ or ‘C’ certificates is good, but it only counts during the interview or personality test.

• Payment methods: Cash at SBI, online via cards/UPI/internet banking.
• Cash payment: Need to deposit at SBI by next working day.
• Last date for cash payment: One day before closing date.
• No other payment modes accepted.
• Fee once paid not refundable or reserved.
• If bank payment details not received, application rejected initially.
• Candidates can submit proof of payment within 10 days for reconsideration.
• Females and SC/ST exempt from fee. OBC/EWS must pay full fee.
